I had reservations about this but what the heck...

So, my question is this: if someone is compelled to be a martyr (killing themselves for whatever cause they're a zealot about) is it evil to send them on their way, saving them all the trouble and mess of blowing themselves up? Aren't you just facilitating the process and helping them out?
